Round mat intended to go under glass on a coffee table. Machine appliqué and embroidery in beige and light brown. There is a mesh backing fabric behind which small motifs have been applied. A sheer fabric overlays the whole. The backing is cut away in places to expose the other layers. Motifs are oversewn with machine stitching. The whole has been mounted on a circular card.
