Physical Description

Fragment of hand woven fabric heavily embroidered. Four diagonal bands of black foliate design, alternating with bands of small red squares of geometric design. The entire design is filled with closely placed sequins. Silver sequins around the black designs are held with clear beads. Sequins surrounding red squares are held with golden yellow beads. Stitches are cross stitch, eyelets and satin stitch.
