Physical Description
Sampler completed in 1829 by Ann Saunders. Traditional design using bands of pattern, and the whole design enclosed in a floral border. The alphabet at the top is followed by a formal band of leaves and flowers. Three baskets of flowers followed by a traditional band of figures with central house. Lettering: "Ann Saunders - her sampler - worked in the Year of Our Lord 1829 and (?) Year of her Age", followed by a phrase of scripture.
