Physical Description
Miao woman's festival apron of red and green satin strips with applied motifs cut out of 'silk felt'. Designs are pasted onto fabric and edges outlined with fine nylon fishing line densely couched with black thread. There is some sequin and bead decoration. Fringe is also of 'silk felt' two rows of white metal wrapped around thread joins fringe to main part of apron.
