Embroidery on black cotton cloth. Figurative design depicting funeral of an AIDS victim. Densely stitched using chain, herringbone, buttonhole and straight stitches in multiple vivid colours. There is the red AIDS logo in the top left-hand corner and the signature of the artist Nontobeko Tembe on the right-hand side.
