Physical Description
Arpillera from Chile.The hanging is composed of small scraps of colourful fabric, crudely buttonholed together to form a background for seven small female figures. Each figure bears the portrait of a loved one who had disappeared. In the bottom right hand corner is the image of a police car. The words "Donde Estan?" is embroidered and translates to 'Where are they?"
