Physical Description
Dong Chinese Minority thread holder made of handmade paper, intricately folded in origami style to create a series of pockets and painted with elaborate patterns. The whole is protected by an outer cover of hand-woven, indigo-dyed fabric. There are bundles of silk threads and fragments of braid in the interior pockets.
