Physical Description
Gold work sampler. The sampler is backed by two layers of handmade paper and one of organza and mounted on card. Ground fabric is loose weave cotton interwoven with pale gold silk. Design of repeat coils and bullion stitch interspersed with wandering pattern of couched gold thread.
