Physical Description
Small panel of Dao (Vietnam) embroidery densely worked with traditional symbols and patterns including pine needles and peach blossom. Embroidered with silk in various tones of red, using slanted satin and cross stitches on the traditional indigo dyed cotton. The rectangle of embroidery called 'luy tan' is worn on the upper back of a woman's outer jacket (luy dao).
