Physical Description
Child's Tiger hat in multicoloured satin. Splendidly fierce face with fringed staring eyes, teeth, fangs and lolling tongue. Ears are traditional dog ears. Decoration includes stripes and tail with vestigial feet using a variety of stitches and narrow braids. The hat has ears to hear evil approaching, large protruding eyes to spot danger and a mouth full of bared teeth. The hat would fool bad spirits into thinking that the child was an animal and thus of no value.
