A Hedebo mat. There is a central flower-pot design with birds in the upper and lower borders. The design motifs are outlined with chain stitch with pulled fabric work fillings, buttonhole stitch, eyelets and other stitches. The top and bottom borders with birds are edged with lines of needlewoven drawn thread. The embroidery is worked on white on hand-spun and woven white linen. Edging of buttonhole loops.
