Physical Description
A white cotton mat embroidered in one corner with a geometric design in white silk. The design consists of an open grid worked in double back stitch with the spaces enclosing geometric motifs worked in satin stitch in a style typical of Afghan embroidery. The narrow hem edges a row of drawn thread work hemstitched in a zig-zag pattern.
