Physical Description
Ecru net bonnet or coif with gold work, needle lace, appliqué, eyelet embroidery and cutwork. Separated initials of "K" and "A" are worked on the band within the pattern of repeat swags of embroidered leaves. Other elements incorporated within the swags are stylised flowers and leaves. Some of the floral elements are appliquéd. The design on the band around the face is a repeat metal worked scallop-like circle with needle lace centres. The back has a central motif of stylised flowers surrounded by leaves and three other motifs made up of multiple circles. Satin stitch and eyelet stitch.
