Physical Description

Very fine cream cotton bonnet with floral motifs in pink, blue, green and dark brown worked in couching with cotton and some metal thread. There is a pink needle lace edging with cord and matching tassels on the curved edge and a cream sawtooth needle lace edging on the straight edge. A narrow dark brown border with small repeat floral motifs parallels the needle lace edge and is taken up into the centre of the larger floral motifs.
