Samokov sleeve fragments worked into a small table mat. Worked on ecru coarse evenweave fabric in coloured threads - red, blue and green with touches of gold metal thread. A single large motif of counted thread work stylised flowers makes up the centre which is bordered on all sides with bands of repeat stylised floral motifs also worked in counted thread work. Red satin stitched edges.
