Physical Description
A deep red coarsely hand woven quadrangular wedding apron. Repeat geometric band patterns cover the entire surface and there are geometric borders on the sides and at the hem. Tassels topped with a blue bead dot the entire apron and there are a few beaded decorations finished with a large spangle on each. There are two plaited ties with a tassel at the waist. The embroidery pattern is worked mostly in cross stitch and the edges are finished with buttonhole or double buttonhole stitch. Thread colours include white, navy blue, green, yellow and pink.
