Physical Description
Chinese silk embroidered satin handkerchief. Floral design is circular with a square framework and is based on butterflies and flowers. Heavily embroidered in silk in pale shades of white, pink, blue, green and grey. Stitches used are satin stitch, seeding, back stitch and tiny examples of needlelace. The whole handkerchief is edged with fine scalloped edge in buttonhole stitch.
