Physical Description
A toran or pair of heavily embroidered decorative Indian door or window hangings in red, orange, blue and green. Each panel is L-shaped with a trianglar finish on the shorter side. Allover matching embroidery in multicoloured cotton thread on both panels. Design is geometric and shisha mirrors are applied as borders and used as decorative elements within the design. Stitches included running, buttonhole, and herringbone. (a) Triangular finish is on the left side. (b) Triangular finish is on the right side.
