Physical Description

Skirt made from a heavy brown cotton fabric covered with faint reddish brown spots. Heavy bands of multicoloured cotton thread embroidery from midway down the skirt to the hemline. Large stylised flowers with shisha mirrors in the uppermost band. A 14cm band of red cotton fabric heavily embroidered with decorative circles with shisha mirrors has been attached at the bottom of the skirt. Other bands are narrow with geometric designs. Drawstring waistband is covered with narrow geometric bands. Stitches include, square chain, chain, herringbone, and interlacing stitch.
