Physical Description

Long ecru, coarse cotton blouse with red and black cotton cross stitched floral sprays on the bodice, shoulders, sleeves and cuffs. Faggoting with red cotton thread, has been used to join the sleeves to the body of the blouse. There are small amounts of drawn thread work over the shoulders and on the cuffs. The neck has been buttonhole stitched with red cotton thread. There is a black and red cotton cord with tassels at the neck. There are two cross stitched letters, one red, one black (a set of intitials?) at the base of the neck opening.
