Physical Description
Buyi woman's black satin damask festival jacket with centre front opening and side slits. Embroidered green and red strips and machine-made braid has been applied at the neck, front opening and hem. The paper pattern surrounds are still attached to the Dazi embroidery which is the embroidery outlined with white couched gimp and filled with Chinese Knots. Multicoloured trailing floral designs worked in satin stitch and Dazi embroidery. Silk thread.
