Physical Description

Ecru cotton drawn thread work panel cut from a towel. A symmetrical architectural design flanked by two large birds has been worked on a Russian drawn thread ground. Design is worked in double running stitch with bright red, maroon and yellow cotton thread. A band of fine ecru puncetto lace has been applied to one end with a small band of cotton fabric joining it to the panel.
