Physical Description

Cream linen drawn thread work panel cut from a towel. A finely worked symmetrical design of stylised foliage is depicted on a panel of Russian drawn thread ground. This panel is bordered with a narrow band with a repeat pattern of scrolls on the same ground. Some yellow, cream, pink, red, and blue silk thread has been used to outline the motifs in stem stitch.
