Physical Description
Pair of Chinese Rank Badges - back panel and divided front panel. The central design of a Paradise Fly Catcher denotes the ninth civil rank. The background is filled with motifs of bats, clouds, lotus and sun. Along the lower edge are land and sea motifs and the whole is surrounded by a border. The embroidery is worked in coloured silks on a background of blue silk and lined with green.
