Physical Description
Bridal Bed curtain. The linen curtain, embroidered with typical motifs in silk cross stitch, measures 42" wide by 106" long. This includes a 4.5" band which runs along the top (or bottom) and has been added to the embroidered area. The curtain is formed of two loom widths, each of approximately 20" width, joined down the centre with a silk braid of mainly rust-red with two narrow stripes of dark ochre. The cross stitch is in typical rust red and green alternating with each motif.
