Physical Description
A cabinet shaped, papier-mâché sewing box lacquered black with mother-of-pearl inlay. The lid is decorated with a picture of Warwick Castle and is lined with pink satin. The lid lifts to show a tray divided into compartments with moveable, pink satin-covered dividers containing needlework accessories - pearl topped thread winders, metal thimble decorated with flowers. Below this compartment, two front doors open with a key to reveal four drawers, the top one has three velvet lined compartments.
