Physical Description
Pair of leggings from the Akha hills-tribe people of Thailand. The leggings are of heavy black cotton (probably hand-spun, hand-woven, indigo dyed) decorated with bands of applied coloured material, some with diamond and triangular shapes, outlined with couching. Embroidered with coloured thread on two bands. Decorated with white buttons.
