Physical Description
Sampler in red thread on a white cotton ground. Two alphabets and numerals from 1 to 0 worked in padded satin stitch. All four corners have different examples of drawn thread work and a little embroidery. Stitches include feather, herringbone and tete de boeuf. There are also worked initials "UB" and two words "Arbeitschule" and "Kornthal". The translation given on Google is "Schoolgirl, Korntal".
