Physical Description
A long narrow tapered rifle bag from Afghanistan. The bag is closed at both ends and has button and loop closures along the length. It is embroidered allover with very fine chain stitch in multicoloured threads. Lengths of narrow silver-coloured braid are stitched down and silver-coloured cord is stitched along top and bottom and side openings. The purple ground fabric is backed with coarse red cotton fabric. A separate piece of different fabric and embroidery design has been added at the bottom edge.
