Physical Description
Dark blue satin cheong-sam richly embroidered allover in branching foliage in couched metal threads. The standing collar, front opening, cuff ends and hem are edged in a narrow band of grey silk. Fastened at the neck and along the full length front opening with knot and loop frog fastenings. The garment has medium sleeves and is lined with pale blue silk. Possibly from Hong Kong.
