Physical Description
Roundel of Coptic embroidery worked in dark brown woolen thread on a discoloured background of a dull 'tea' colour. A vase motif is repeated inside a circumference of a solid line with short rays on the outside. This is an unusual piece that is embroidered rather than tapestry woven. Possibly 10th century.
