Physical Description
Beaded box, circa 1850. A small box beaded with minute beads on the top and sides. All four sides are beaded with floral border design in red, green and grey on a white background. The top lid is beaded with a design of a bird cage on a small tree with perched bird, against a background of grey beads. There are borders of yellow beads on the lid and sides. The box is lined with silk and the lid is fastened with a small loop and handworked button.
